Zavod imeni Sverdlova is a unique enterprise that has a developed munitions production, production of battle and industrial explosives, production of chemicals for industrial purposes, a metal engineering unit, auxiliary processes and a developed social sphere facilities. - Production of explosives and ammunition filling. Some of the techniques of producing explosives are unique, and in some cases, are the only ones in Russia.
- Chemical production is represented by a wide range of household and industrial chemical products: phenol-formaldehyde resin, epoxy resin, carbamide-furane resin, plasticizers, hardeners of various modifications, nitrobenzene, sulphanole, acetic anhydride, various cleaners and detergents and other products.
- Metal Engineering unit manufactures various non-standard equipment, aluminium products, domestic equipment: «Oka» washing machines — the most famous brand in Russia — and «Oka» electric water heaters.
